My Gear
The tools and equipment I use to capture professional-quality content
Equipment Overview
Quality gear is essential for delivering professional results, but it's only as good as the person using it. Here's a look at the equipment I rely on for weddings, sports, and content creation.
Cameras
Sony A7III x2
Primary camera body for video and photography. Excellent low-light performance, reliable autofocus, and outstanding image quality make this my go-to for most shoots.
Lenses
Sony FE 70-300mm F4.5-5.6
Zoom lens that covers mostly sports outdoors.
Brightin Star AF 85mm F1.8 & Sony FE 50mm F1.8
Prime lenses for bokeh and low-light situations. Great for portraits and creating cinematic depth of field.
Rokinon AF 24mm F1.8
Wide-angle prime lens for establishing shots and tight spaces. Essential for capturing the full scope of venues and large group shots.
Stabilization
DJI RS 4
Three-axis gimbal for smooth, cinematic camera movements. Critical for creating professional-looking video with fluid motion.
NEEWER 72 IN Tripod x2
Sturdy tripod for static shots and long-form interviews. Reliable and stable in various conditions.
Audio Equipment
DJI Mic Wireless
Wireless lavalier system for crystal-clear audio during vows and speeches. Essential for capturing clean dialogue without distracting cables.
Rode VideoMic NTG
Shotgun microphone for on-camera audio. Great directional pickup for interviews and general event coverage.
Lighting
[LED Light Panel]
Portable LED panel for fill light and interviews. Battery-powered and adjustable color temperature make it incredibly versatile.
Accessories & Support
[Memory Cards]
High-speed SD cards for reliable recording without dropped frames. Always carry multiple backups.
[Batteries]
Extended battery packs and multiple spares to ensure I never miss a moment due to power loss.
[Camera Bag]
Protective camera backpack that keeps all equipment organized and safe during transport.
My Workflow
Having the right gear is just the start. Here's how I use this equipment to deliver exceptional results from shoot to final delivery.
Pre-Production
Scout locations (if I'm around the area, otherwise will research online), plan shots, and prepare all equipment the night before. Check batteries, format cards, and ensure backup gear is ready.
Shoot Day
Arrive early to set up and test all equipment. Use a couple cameras and angles to capture comprehensive coverage throughout the event.
Backup & Organization
Immediately backup all footage to a drive. Organize files by date and project for easy retrieval during editing.
Post-Production
Edit footage using Adobe, color grade for consistency, mix audio, add music, and transitions to create the final product.
Delivery
Export in multiple formats and deliver via online gallery or physical media, ensuring clients receive high-quality files they can treasure forever.
